Rock DAC was established in 1999 by two local entreprenuers, Martin Hegarty and Niall Turley. Their aim was to set up a business selling discounted electrical appliances, to both trade and public in the local Newry area due to the immense demand for these types of products. The business was founded on humble premises on the Rock Road, Newry, hence the name Rock Domestic Appliance Centre.

 In 2001 due to the increase in demand for their products, the business expanded and moved to a new location at 85a Cloughanramer Road, Newry, just off the main A1 Newry to Belfast road. Expanding to supply and meet the demands of customers throughout the whole of Northern Ireland and parts of Southern Ireland.

In February 2004 Rock DAC became an Official Electrolux re-works centre. Currently one of eight such centres located within the UK. As an Electrolux re-works centre we are able to supply all of Electrolux’s products including spares. All our graded appliances are factory tested and sold with the same Full Manufacturers Warranty and support as a non graded Appliance but at substantial savings to the customer. With all work being carried out by certified engineers working to the professional standards set by the appliance manufacturers, providing customers the highest standards in professional service and expertise.

Rock D.A.C  maintain a large range of built in and freestanding appliances on display at all time’s where savings of up 50% are offered on all graded appliances. With a full delivery and back up service available. Supplying the latest appliances from leading brands such as Zanussi, Electrolux, AEG, Tricity Bendix and Parkinson Cowan
