Warranty


Any customer purchasing electrical goods from ROCK D.A.C. must understand that:

All our appliances & electrical goods are ‘Graded Products’ that have been returned to Electrolux by its retail and trade customers for many different reasons.

The term ‘Graded Products’ means that all products are one of the following. New duplicated order, damaged box, ex demo, ex display, Faulty returns, Failed deliveries or simply unwanted gifts returned within 14 days of purchase. This may have received minor cosmetic damage etc. This may have occurred as a result of transit damage or mishandling. All Products are restored in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications and therefore each product comes with a full manufacturer’s warranty.

All Products leaving Rock DAC rework centre contain a copy of the user instruction/installation book and all items of internal furniture are included.

Only genuine Electrolux Group spare parts are used and fitted in accordance with Electrolux approved practices.

Rework Centers are subject to regular audits carried out by a representative of the Electrolux Group.

Standard Guarantee Conditions
The guarantee is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, on condition that:
  • Date of purchase is given which must be verified by purchase invoice.
  • The appliance has been correctly installed and used only on the electricity supply stated on the rating plate.
  • The appliance has been used for normal domestic purposes only, and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • The appliance has not been serviced, maintained, repaired, taken apart or tampered with by any person not authorized by us.
  • All service work under this guarantee must be undertaken by Rock DAC or an Electrolux Service Force Centre.
  • Any appliance or defective part replaced shall become the company’s property.
  • This guarantee is in addition to your statutory and other legal rights.
  • Home visits are made between 9.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
  • Visits may be available outside these hours in which case a premium will be charged.
  • There will be a £35.00 callout charge if customer does not keep to the agreed time of calling and if the appliance is found not faulty.
Exclusions
This guarantee does not cover:
  • Damage or calls resulting from transportation, improper use or neglect, the replacement of any light bulbs or removable parts of glass or plastic.
  • Costs incurred for calls to put right an appliance which is improperly installed or calls to appliances out side the European Community (EC) or European Free Trade Area
  • Appliances found to be in use within a commercial environment, plus those which are subject to rental agreements
All Refrigeration Products must be left to stand for a minimum of 12 hours after transportation before switching on to avoid internal damage. Rock DAC strongly recommends that the contents of all refrigeration be insured independently before installation as we do not accept any claim for loss of food or damage to clothing however caused.

Rock DAC engineers will use every effort to avoid damage to floor coverings and adjacent units when carrying out a delivery service/repair work but in locations where the engineer advises you that it will be impossible to move the appliance, without risk or damage, he will only proceed with your approval in writing and signed that no liability is accepted. All integrated/built in appliances must be removed from their housing units by you the customer before an engineer will carry out any service/repair work.

Delivery
A delivery charge will be added to each purchase. Please note all of our deliveries are carried out by one man. If you have limited access, narrow passageways etc or require delivery to anywhere other than the front of the property, we ask that there is someone there to help the driver.

Failed Deliveries
If you are not there to accept the delivery on your chosen delivery day or there are access issues that have not been advised there will be a further delivery charge incurred.

Delivery Date
Once payment has been received/cleared you will be contacted to arrange a suitable delivery date, you can normally choose any date AM or PM Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)
